The aim of this fund is to achieve the highest possible capital appreciation by investing in small- and mid-cap companies domiciled in the USA with a view to outperforming the rest of the market. This fund invests in accordance with the principle of risk diversification in shares of American companies which have a market capitalisation of less than US$3 billion at purchase. Preference is for companies with a high earnings potential, good growth prospects and an innovative product range. Stock selection is based on economic, sector and company-specific analysis and investments are made with a medium- to long-term horizon.
