The objective of the Fund is to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in small to medium sized Japanese companies and to a lesser extent in large Japanese companies. The Investment Adviser will seek to achieve the investment objective by investing primarily in equity and equity-related securities (including warrants and convertible securities, without warrants exceeding 10% of the net assets of the Fund) of small to medium sized Japanese companies and secondarily in securities of large Japanese companies (with investments in large Japanese companies not exceeding 30% of the net assets of the Fund).
