Fidelity European Smaller Companies aims to provide long term capital growth from an actively managed portfolio consisting of smaller companies listed in the UK and Continental Europe. Smaller companies are defined as those with a market capitalisation of less than $1 billion. Asset allocation within the fund is achieved as a result of the attractiveness of individual companies, rather than on the basis of top-down country analysis.
